7. Brihadeeswarar Temple, India
This gigantic temple was built in 1010 and locals call it “The Big Temple”. It has a total area of 320,000 sqm and is decorated with a lot of ancient sculptures. On the top of the temple there is a single stone called “kumbam” which weights 70,000 kg and it is still unknown how it was transported from the 60 km far source. Furthermore, the statue of Nandi which stands in front of the temple is also made by a single rock and weights 20,000 kg.
